Ystradgynlais RFC "Junior Blues"

1: The name of the draw is the Junior Blues 200 Club ("the Lottery") regardless of the number of shares.

2: The purpose of the Lottery is to raise funds for the sole benefit of Ystradgynlais RFC Juniors. ("the Club").

3: The Lottery will be administered by a sub committee, consisting of three members, one of whom shall be elected Treasurer and be responsible for the keeping of the accounts of “the club” and arranging payment of prizes. The other members will be a promoter and administrator.

4: The Lottery shall run for a period of seven months per annum, Starting in October and running through til April.

5: The Lottery will be open to anybody aged 16 or over. A purchaser of a share becomes a participant in the Lottery. Participants are entitled to hold any number of shares.

6: The initial target will be 150 shares, and each share shall be allocated a unique number. Participants may confirm the number of their allocated share(s) by contacting the Promoter. A list of participants will also be published on the junior web site and on club notice boards.

7: The subscription for each share is £10 per year, payable in advance of the October draw by cash or cheque. (made payable to Ystradgynlais RFC Juniors).

8: There shall be a draw made in each calendar month from  October through to April. Numbers will be drawn using a random number generator or other such means as the Promoter deems appropriate. All participants are entitled to attend the draws, which must be held in the presence of at least 2 members of the 200 Club Committee. Monthly prize winning numbers will be drawn in the following order: 1st prize, 2nd prize.

9: Winning prizes will be paid in cash. 1^st prize = £75. 2^nd Prize = £25, which can be collected from Ystradgynlais RFC during normal opening hours. It is the responsibility of the participant to check all winning numbers. Any cash prize not collected within 3 months will be deemed a donation to the Club. A list of prize winning numbers will be published on the Junior website and club notice boards within 48 hrs of the draw.

10: The Promoter will not pay a prize to any Participant other than the purchaser of a winning share.

11: No Lottery participant will be included in the draw if the subscription has not been received. It is the responsibility of each Participant to make sure they have paid their subscription. The Promoter reserves the right to reallocate any number where payment has not been received.

12: Only numbers of the shares sold and paid for will be entered into each monthly draw, this will provide a better chance of winning.

13: Un-sold numbers between 1 and 200 may be purchased on the day of a monthly draw at a cost of £2 per number per monthly draw.

14: Monthly draws will take place on the first Sunday of each month between the hours of 12pm and 2pm

15: If the initial target of 150 shares was exceeded,  the club would pay out 50% of extra funds generated in a end of season BONUS DRAW. The Bonus draw would comprise of two winners with each sharing 50% of the prize money.

15: Under no circumstances can subscriptions be refunded.

16: The sub committee will determine any dispute. An appeal may be made to the Club Management Committee whose decision shall be final.

17: The Lottery is intended to be a Small Society Lottery under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 Section 19.

18: Ystradgynlais RFC Juniors may amend or vary the rules of the lottery at any time. The rules of the Lottery will be available via the Club website. Changes will be notified to Participants via the Club website.
